Every vehicle has blind spots, and parking sensors help drivers remain aware of curbs and other cars at all times. Low-riding vehicles are particularly susceptible to damage from pulling too far forward onto pavements or curbs. Rear parking and backup sensors are more common, but some vehicles do come with front parking sensors. Owners can also separately purchase sensors that use lasers, ultrasound, or radar to detect objects in front of vehicles.
